“Flawless” has no defined clinical endpoint. An image chosen for advertising may look uniform while hiding variation across people and changes in lighting or editing.

What would prove an even outcome?

A fair test needs defined colour measures, consistent photography and an account of adverse outcomes. One influencer photograph does not establish a predictable result.

Why product claims are separate

A visually appealing tan cannot tell the viewer the identity, purity or sterility of the marketed product. Cancer Research UK warns about the absence of testing for marketed Melanotan products.

A cosmetic look is another category
