Fast Tanning Injection Claims: Time to Result
“Fast” can refer to days, weeks or merely a comparison with another method. Without a stated interval and measured colour, it has no useful benchmark.
Define a testable timeline
A study should record baseline skin colour, the exact product, repeated measurements and exposure to UV or other cosmetics. Anecdotal “first result” dates cannot predict another person’s outcome.
Speed says nothing about safety
An early visible change would not verify the contents of a vial or the absence of side effects. Cancer Research UK cautions against marketed Melanotan products.
UV remains relevant
A claim of fast colour must not encourage more sun exposure or less protection. The NHS says a tan does not protect skin from harmful UV, while our duration guide explains why timelines vary.
