Melanotan 2 Vial Claims: Safety and Longevity
Vials are a packaging format. The number of vials or amount printed on a label is not a clinical measure of safety, quality or how long a change in appearance may last.
What a vial listing can tell you
A listing can state its pack size, declared content and what is supplied separately. Those details help identify the product being advertised; they do not verify what is inside a specific vial.
Claims about UV and lasting colour
A claim that a vial replaces sun protection or avoids skin-cancer risk is unsupported by its format. Individual pigmentation and UV exposure are different questions. The NHS recommends sun protection regardless of a tan.
Evaluate the evidence before a claim
Cancer Research UK says marketed Melanotan products have not been tested for safety, quality or effectiveness. Our quality-claims guide explains why a percentage on a label is not an independently verified batch result.
