Simple Tanning Results Claims: What to Verify

A statement that a perfect tan is “simple” describes a desired experience, not a tested result. The promised duration, evenness and ease each need their own definition.

Separate the three promises

A bundle may be simple to order; that does not mean an effect is predictable. A lasting appearance needs follow-up measurements, while an even appearance needs consistent colour assessment.

A testimonial cannot verify a batch

An individual photograph cannot establish the identity or quality of a marketed product. Cancer Research UK warns that Melanotan products sold for tanning have not been tested for safety, quality or effectiveness.

Protect skin independently

A tan is not a substitute for UV precautions. The NHS advises shade, clothing and sunscreen when the sun is strong. Our results-timeline article explains the limits of duration claims.
